
3GL's Guiding Good Choices (GGC) provides parents with the knowledge and skills needed to guide their children through early adolescence. It seeks to strengthen and clarify family expectations for behavior while enhancing conditions that promote resisting substance.
Good Ground Good Life provides workforce training for DOES Youth through the Mayor's Summer Youth Program. Focusing on technology-based skills for career planning covering communication, leadership and business planning, participants gain practical business experience preparing them for roles as employees, managers, and business owners.
Our Programs

Drone Program
The Youth Drone Training Course equips students with the foundational skills to obtain the FAA Part 107 License in drone operation, safety, and regulations while fostering interest in STEM careers. Through hands-on experience and cutting-edge simulation technology, students will develop critical thinking, teamwork, and technical skills to thrive in the growing field of unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

SCSEP
The Senior Community Service Employment Program is a work-based training program where participants gain career skills through on the job training in community based organizations. The program is administered by the United States Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration to help older Americans get back into and remain active in the labor workforce.

SYEP
The Mayor Marion S. Barry's Summer Youth Employment Program(SYEP) connects private sector employers, community-based organizations, Federal government, and District government agencies to provide District youth who are between the ages of 14-24 with an array of summer work experiences to cultivate and stimulate professional and personal career aspirations. Employers in the Washington, DC metropolitan area make this annual program possible by volunteering to serve as Host Employers and providing structured job opportunities for youth during the summer.


Good Ground Good Life supports the American Heart Association’s mission to combat cardiovascular disease through our "Twisting Off Obesity" campaign. This initiative focuses on reducing obesity-related conditions like heart disease and diabetes, emphasizing the risks of obesity, as a major contributor to heart disease.
Good Ground Good Life's "Rock the Block" (RTB) is an innovative outreach initiative using community events to address sensitive issues like substance abuse, domestic violence, and youth gang involvement. RTB creates a block party atmosphere with music, poetry, and cyphers to engage hard-to-reach communities, providing on-the-spot education, literature, and activities.
